As per our demand submitted to Additional Divisional Railway Manager, CST, Mumbai, on 12/11/2009 the railway has provided new Train with bigger Handicap Compartment from 5th February, 2010 for the commuters. Heartiest thanks to Central Railway and looking forward for more new trains in near future.

Our request for "NO QUE" for Persons with Disabilities while purchasing Local Ticket/Season Pass is accepted by Railways.

Our proposal for inclusion of disability related complete information in Unique Identification Cards is accepted by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Govt. of India.

The delegates of the association are planning to meet Hon'ble Shri. Mukul Wasnik, Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, and submit its nine suggestions pertaining to persons with disabilities.

Will be organizing seminar on "Disabled Population and their Problems related to Education, Employment & Rehabilitation" in 2010.
